PRIVATE LESSONS (all ages)

FULL DAY PRIVATE LESSONS, ALL AGES & ABILITIES Offered daily at all mountains, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or by special arrangement. We accommodate up to 5 guests per lesson, and the guests set the agenda. From beginning turns to hitting the steeps and deeps or jibbing in the park & pipe, we teach it all, and guarantee it! Guests will enjoy privileges that include custom-tailored teaching, priority lift access, mountain guiding, and overnight ski/snowboard storage.RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. 

 
CHILDREN’S GROUP LESSONS (ages 2.5 – 17 years) 
CHILDREN’S GROUP SKIING & SNOWBOARDING 

Ages 13 -17 Teens’ Group Lesson – All levels, Ski & Snowboard Teen only groups are offered daily at Snowmass (ski & sb), holiday weeks at Buttermilk (ski & sb) and Aspen Highlands (ski only, levels 5-9), 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Teens are invited to join adult or children lessons during non holiday weeks at Buttermik and Aspen Higlands. Holiday weeks include Dec. 17 – 31, Feb. 19 – 25, Mar. 12 – Apr. 2.  
Our teens program is taught by our most qualified coaches. Teens explore the mountain, checking out all of the terrain, from the beginner areas and the easy groomers to the park & pipe and the bumps and steeps. Groups are formed by skill level and goals. 

Ages 7 -12 Kids’ Group Lesson – All levels, Ski & Snowboard Offered daily at Snowmass, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands (levels 5-9), 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.Kids make friends and learn to ski and ride in a fun, supportive environment. A typical day means exploring all the coolest trails, visiting adventure zones, and building skills in the park & pipe. Highlights of the week include race day and “showdown at lowdown” park challenge. Classes are divided according to age and ability and include a supervised lunch. 

Ages 5 - 6 “Grizzlies” Group Lesson – All levels, Ski & Snowboard Offered daily at Snowmass & ButtermilkThe Grizzlies spend their days on the mountain, enjoying their own beginner area and direct lift access for tearing up the slopes. Special events include the Winter Wild Things Native Animal Exploration program and race days. The Grizzlies program at Buttermilk is convenient for parents skiing at Aspen Mountain or Aspen Highlands. Both the full-day and half-day lesson options are available at Snowmass and Buttermilk. 

Ages 3 – 4 “Big Burn Bears/Pandas” Group Lesson – All levels, Ski only Offered daily at Snowmass and Buttermilk Our all-inclusive program is specially designed for potty trained children ready to spend most of the day outside learning to ski. Bears/Pandas have their own dedicated learning area as well support from our daycare staff and facilities. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. 

Ages 2 ½ - 4 “Cubs on Skis” Daycare and Group Lesson – All levels, Ski only Offered daily at Snowmass and Buttermilk Unique to Aspen/Snowmass, this specially designed program is for children who need daycare and are ready to try a bit of skiing. Children will spend time on snow with our pre-school specific pros. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying age specific arts & crafts, games and activities at the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center at Snowmass or the Panda House at Buttermilk. ADVANCE RESERVATIONSREQUIRED. 
 

Adult Group Lesson – Intermediate/Advanced Levels, Ski & Snowboard - Offered daily at Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. We form groups of similarly skilled skiers or riders who receive tons of individual attention while enjoying a team experience. No longer do we stand around and “work” on learning. Groups are paced to accommodate individual goals and maximize time. All lessons are guaranteed! 

1-Day Beginner’s MagicTM – Beginner Level, Ski and Snowboard Offered daily at Snowmass and Buttermilk, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Includes lift ticket, lesson and equipment rental voucherSpecifically designed to meet the needs of first-time and beginner/green terrain skiers and snowboarders, Beginner’s Magic utilizes a unique teaching method that assures peak performance while building confidence and comfort in a new sport and the mountain environment.

SPECIALITY/MULTI-DAY PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS & TEENS 

Women’s Edge – Intermediate/Advanced Levels, Ski only Offered at Snowmass. 3-day program: Tuesday–Thursday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Dec. 21- 23 and January 4 - March 31, 2011

• Over 25 years in the running, this unique three-day program designed especially for women and taught by women-specific, PSIA-certified pros is an absolute must for women skiers looking for a multi-day experience in a supportive yet challenging environment. Terrain and snow exploration, skill acquisition, making new friends, and simply having a blast, are just a few of the attributes of this experience. Special in-resort pricing is available for Friday extension.

 Senior’s Camp - Intermediate/Advanced Levels, Ski only Offered at Buttermilk. 3-day program: Tuesday–Thursday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., on the following dates: Dec. 14-16, Jan. 11- 13, Jan. 18- 20, Feb. 1-3, Feb. 8-10, Feb. 15-17, Mar. 1-3, Mar. 8-10

• Our 3-day program for mature skiers is taught by specially trained professionals. All adults are welcome to participate yet our teaching approach, task selection, and pacing are customized to meet the needs of older individuals. Guests have the opportunity to travel to other mountains depending on the goals of the group. Special in-resort pricing is available for Friday extension.

 Teen Steep Camp – Advanced/Expert Levels, Ski only, ages 13 -17 Offered at Snowmass & Aspen Highlands, 3-day program: Tuesday –Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. on the following dates: Dec. 21 – 23, Feb. 22-24, Mar. 15-17, Mar. 22-24, Mar. 29 – 31

• These 3-day freeskiing camps are for advanced and expert skiers and are designed to teach teens how to ski North America’s toughest black and double-black diamond terrain in a fun, dynamic environment. Small groups stay together with the same pro. Special in-resort pricing is available for Friday extension.

 
Teen Park & Pipe Camp – Intermediate/Advanced Levels, Ski & Snowboard, ages 13 -17 Offered at Buttermilk, 3-day program: Tuesday –Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. on the following dates: Dec. 21 – 23, Feb. 22-24, Mar. 15-17, Mar. 22-24, Mar. 29 – 31

• Teens get to take advantage of the biggest and coolest park in the nation, home to the Winter X-Games, while learning or enhancing jibbing, jumping and riding skills. Small groups work with a team of specially trained park pros. Special in-resort pricing is available for Friday extension.
